TRANSPARENT/ SOLUTION PROCESSABLE METAL OXIDE ELECTRONICS

Transparent electronics aims at producing “invisible” functional materials and devices with applications spanning consumer electronics, energy harvesting and transportation. For example, automobile windshields could transmit visual information. Glass in almost any setting could also double as an electronic device, possibly improving security systems, or generate electricity. As for the conventional opaque electronics the circuit structure is based on transistor or photovoltaic elements, however, the materials must now be transparent in the visible. Our research in this area has advanced materials, new processing and device architectures as well as integration into circuits.
